LSA International is a London-based design studio specialising in contemporary handmade glass. Their ambition is to use skilled craft to create thoughtful, considered designs with intrinsic value. We wanted to create an environment that reflected these values. A space which showcases their Heritage, promotes their designs and exudes elements of craft through the choice of furnishings.

AMD’s friendship with LSA spans over 25 years and still continues. We cherish long standing relationships with brands and are very much aware of how our design values align. Working more sustainably and resourcefully comes naturally - sourcing thoughtfully designed fixtures and furnishings which were crafted and not mass produced was a must.

The space needed to be flexible and encourage departments to move freely and interact with one another - better improving communication and to encourage conversation. Storage was a key factor in the planning process, smart solutions were required to avoid cluttering the space while avoiding blocking off large areas.

Vitra and String Furniture - Friends of LSA who share the same values and commitment to sustainable living as well as design integrity feature throughout. A Pira system was used to give the impression of divided areas to create some privacy while separate meeting rooms were formed in addition to this. A communal bar sits centre stage for events - an opportunity to touch and feel the product first hand.
